Map the imprint area
Select the reference page for the current decoration method. Drag a rectangle on the product photo to match its imprint location and limits. Drag inside the area to move it, or drag its lower-right handle to resize. Drag outside the area to draw a replacement. This sets the largest proportional logo size; it does not stretch the artwork.
Specific requests and applied settings
Enter the actual width of the current placement to set its physical scale. This first entry labels the current placement; it does not resize it. After that, width and percentage size stay linked. AI uses these dimensions to judge stitch size. Clear the width to reset the scale.
For approximate sizing, enter a known width and mark that same span on the photo. Use a span near the decoration on the same surface. Perspective and curved surfaces reduce accuracy.
Drag the logo on the photo to position it. Use arrows for fine adjustments; hold Shift for larger steps. Check that artwork stays on the product and inside any mapped imprint area.
